About Phillip & Carolyn

Phillip and Carolyn Israelson have served in missions since 1976. Under the direction of Brother Daniel Ost, they joined “Missionary Revival Crusade” as an “independent branch” of the Mission called “Barnabas Ministries of Missionary Revival Crusade.” It is through the Mission today under the name of “Master’s Resourcing Commission”
that Phillip has ministerial papers and receives personal support. Phillip travelled with “Danny” Ost in Mexico, Guatemala, France, Africa, and India, preaching and teaching the Word of God. During this time, Phillip began to develop and teach a
series called “The Six Principles for Growth in Christ” from the book of Hebrews, as well as much more instruction for believers to live the Christian life by the Spirit of God.

In addition to teaching and helping to develop the spiritual lives of believers all over the world, Phillip and Carolyn were invited in 1978 to visit Israel for the first time. God began to put a desire in Phillip to search out the Scriptures as to why Israel
is important to Christians today. He has been on a giant learning curve for forty-five years to understand the connection between Israel and the Church. This process has taken him to Israel over seventy times since that first trip. He has participated in the annual Intercessors for Israel prayer conference in Jerusalem, taught in Israeli congregations, and taken many Bible study tours to both Israel and parts of the Middle East with his wife Carolyn, including seasons working with Christian Friends
of Israel and with the Mount Carmel School of Ministry.

More recently, Phillip wrote “The Smallest Step of Obedience Opens the Biggest Door,” a book which shares his story, detailing how God used life experiences to develop his faith and equip him to be able to help others learn biblical foundational
principles for growth in Christ. This guide full of practical teaching will help believers move more into the realm of the Holy Spirit and operate with the mind of the Lord.

He continues to minister when and where the Lord leads. Phillip and Carolyn have five grown children, three grandchildren, and are based in the Seattle, Washington area.

The basis of their calling is a “Barnabas Ministry”:

•To encourage believers.
•To teach the scriptures
•To introduce gifted men and women of God to the Church worldwide for
edification and blessing
•To instruct in the way of righteousness, and,
•Bless the believing remnant living in Israel
